Join us in scenic Taos, New Mexico, from November 12 through 15, 2025 for the annual American Planning Association New Mexico Annual State Planning Conference: The Art of Place: Planning with Culture, Land, and Legacy.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Taos, this year’s conference brings together planners, practitioners, and partners from across New Mexico and the Southwest to explore how we shape communities at the intersection of culture, wildland-urban interfaces, and land use.
In collaboration with the Town of Taos and Taos County, the conference will feature place-based insights from the region while addressing the broader planning opportunities and challenges, including tourism, affordable housing, equitable development, wealth and wages, ecological management, fire resilience, and code enforcement—issues that resonate statewide and beyond.
